Mountain Health Community Center

The Mountain Health Community Center helps provide access to healthy food for residents of East County and serves as a central location for community connection through activities and educational opportunities. The Community Center is conveniently located on Sheridan Road in Campo on a large property containing outdoor play space, including: four baseball fields, a children’s play park, and picnic area with a gazebo.

The Community Center offers a variety of services and programs for community members of all ages.

‍Services include:

• A food pantry open to everyone in the community, providing fresh produce, dairy, meats, breads, and canned goods (donations are welcome)
• East County Senior Nutrition Program  
• CalFresh Assistance
• Children’s Programs: Classes, Day Camps
• Community Events
• Community Classes
• Public computer lab, offering high-speed internet
• Hall rentals for meetings and special events
• Referral to other services, as needed

Additionally, our building can help offer an escape from local weather conditions. Our indoor space offers the community a cool zone in the summer and a warm haven in the winter and the covered patio overlooks the baseball fields, providing a relaxing environment for residents.

Computer Center Hours:

Mon. – Fri 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Closed on weekends

Food Pantry Hours: 

Mon. – Fri. 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Closed on weekends

Please call for food box pick-up.  Other food services available on Mondays.
