Dental Services for Children

Pediatric dentists are specifically trained to provide comprehensive dental care services to infants and children, including children with special needs.

Dental services for children ages 6 months to 14 years include: 

  • Routine and periodic dental exams
  • Cleanings 
  • Fluoride treatments
  • Sealants
  • Comprehensive treatment services (fillings, crowns, extractions and space maintenance) 

San Ysidro Health also goes to pre-schools, elementary schools and WIC Nutrition Centers to provide oral health screenings and preventive dental care to young children.
