CenteringPregnancy® at San Ysidro Health offers a supportive, collaborative approach to prenatal care for expectant mothers. Designed specifically for pregnant San Ysidro Health patients, this program brings individuals together in a group setting with their OB provider to learn, connect, and prepare for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum experience. Through interactive sessions and individualized provider time at every visit, patients receive comprehensive care while building community with others on the same journey.
Group Prenatal Care Sessions
Follow a recommended schedule of 10 prenatal visits that replace standard OB check-ins, aligned with your expected delivery date.
Expert-Led Education
Learn directly from your OB provider about key pregnancy and postpartum topics such as nutrition, breastfeeding, pain management, newborn care, and recovery.
Individual Provider Time
Receive one-on-one time with your provider during every group session for personalized care and support.
Peer Support & Community Building
Connect with other expectant mothers, share experiences, and build a support network throughout your pregnancy.

CenteringParenting® at San Ysidro Health offers family-centered, team-based pediatric care during a baby’s critical first year of life. Designed for infants born through the CenteringPregnancy® program, this model combines well-child checkups with group learning so parents can receive high-quality medical guidance while connecting with families experiencing the same stages. With visits at key developmental milestones, parents gain the knowledge and confidence they need to support their baby’s growth and well-being.
Milestone-Based Group Visits
Group medical visits at 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months, replacing standard well-child appointments.
Comprehensive Infant Development Education
Learn about developmental milestones, when to introduce solids, common food allergens, baby-proofing, and how to recognize early signs of illness.
