Health education sessions are available to all San Ysidro Health patients ages 13 to 17 years who are diagnosed as overweight or obese and who need help building healthy lifestyle habits into their daily routine.

Sessions are held individually with the patient and our Health Educator.  Sessions are currently delivered over the phone. The outline of the curriculum is shown below, however the Health Educator will adapt the program to meet the individual needs of each patient and help them to set achievable goals. Through this approach, small lifestyle changes can lead to large health benefits.
