Who Is Eligible for Benefits?
Employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible to participate in San Ysidro Health’s benefits program. Eligible employees may also enroll qualifying dependents, including spouses, registered domestic partners, dependent children up to age 26, and adopted, foster, or domestic partner’s children.

About Us
Originally established along the U.S. / Mexico border in 1969, the organization was founded by a group of mothers in search of medical services for their children. Over 50 years later, San Ysidro Health now provides innovative care to hundreds of thousands of lives in our care through a vast and integrated network of 50 program sites across San Diego County.
Patient Impact
San Ysidro Health is a place where children come to get the care they need to grow into strong and healthy adults. We have invested in the health of our children for nearly 50 years, and payoff has been huge. Ten of thousands of children have grown into healthy, successful adults because of the extraordinary, compassionate and comprehensive care we provide.
