CalFresh/SNAP Benefits Support

Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, CalFresh benefits for millions of Californians will be delayed in November 2025. Recipients can continue using existing benefits as usual, but no new funds will be added until federal funding resumes. A temporary hold on CalFresh/SNAP benefits will go into effect on November 1, 2025. San Diego PACE remains committed to ensuring all participants remain nutritionally stable and will provide additional resources as needed during this period.

What This Means for You

  • Your EBT card will still work for any remaining balance.
  • No new benefits will be loaded until the shutdown ends.
  • If you run low on food or funds, local resources can help.
